Nicole Barron

President

"People over everything. Always."

Nicole Barron is a servant leader, advocate, and the President of William’s House of Hope. Guided by a profound foundation of faith and an unwavering belief in human dignity, Nicole has dedicated her life to a singular, powerful mission: to truly see every person and to build a community where no one is left behind.

A Journey of Heart and Home

Originally born in Idaho, Nicole’s life took a defining turn a decade ago when she relocated to Antigo. Over the last 10 years, she hasn't just lived in Antigo—she has claimed it as her true home, weaving her heart into the fabric of the local community. It is this deep-rooted love for her neighbors that fuels her relentless pursuit of equity, shelter, and hope for those experiencing homelessness.

The Science of Compassion

Nicole’s passion is backed by a robust academic foundation designed to tackle systemic challenges. Holding degrees across Social Work, Sociology, and Human Services, she possesses a unique, multi-dimensional understanding of human struggle and systemic change.

Whether working at the micro level to provide direct, empathetic comfort to an individual in crisis, or operating at the macro level to reshape local resources and policy, Nicole understands that homelessness is a complex, deeply-rooted issue that requires much more than surface-level fixes. She focuses intensely on:

  • Root-Cause Solutions: Moving beyond temporary band-aids to build sustainable pathways forward.

  • Opportunity Creation: Identifying hidden potential and opening doors for those who have been marginalized.

  • Holistic Support: Addressing the physical, emotional, and social needs of the unhoused.

A Mission Embedded in DNA

For Nicole, this work is not a career choice—it is a calling. Her "why" is embedded in her very DNA, driving her to serve with humility and fierce empathy. She operates under the firm conviction that real, lasting change cannot be forced from the top down; it must be built together.

By fostering collaboration, leading with love, and prioritizing people above all else, Nicole invites everyone to pull up a chair to the table. Because she knows that together, we don't just dream of a better future—we actively create the community and the change we wish to see.
