Dear Community Members, Welcome to our March newsletter! We are excited to share our first newsletter with all of you. Our goal is to share updates on our accomplishments, sponsors, past events, and upcoming events. We aim to strengthen community awareness and the bonds we have already built through our monthly newsletter.

🎮 Leveling Up Our Community!
We believe that "Giving Back and Changing Lives" starts with our youth. We had an incredible time on March 31st hosting our community event at Respawn, located in our wonderful downtown Antigo.
It was more than just high scores and gaming—it was about strengthening Antigo through compassion, action, and connection.
Missed out on the fun? Don't worry! We are committed to providing a safe, positive space for our local youth to hang out, play, and grow together. Whether they are dodging Piranha Plants or teaming up for a win, our mission is to empower the next generation to lead with kindness.

Sponsor Spotlight

Heart of the Community: A Special Sponsor Spotlight
Community isn't just a word in Antigo—it’s an action. We want to extend a massive "Thank You" to three local businesses that have stepped up to support the life-changing work happening at William’s House of Hope, Thrift for Hope, and Bridges of Hope SMART Recovery. By supporting these organizations, these businesses are investing in healing, recovery, and a brighter future for our neighbors. This is what community is all about.
Our Deepest Gratitude To:
-
Bolen Realty: Known for helping families find their place in our community, Bolen Realty understands that a "home" is built on more than just brick and mortar—it's built on support and stability. Their commitment to our mission helps ensure everyone in Antigo has a foundation to stand on.
-
Barron’s Brown Mug: A local landmark where our community gathers to connect over a meal. The "Brown Mug" has a long history of being a place of comfort and conversation, making them the perfect partner for organizations like Bridges of Hope that focus on connection and recovery.
-
Schroeder’s: A cornerstone of Antigo’s downtown for generations. Schroeder’s represents the longevity and resilience of our town. Their generosity helps fuel the vital programs that offer hope and resources to those who need them most.
The Impact of Their Support
Because of the generosity of these three local leaders, we are able to continue the work of:
-
William’s House of Hope: Providing shelter and a pathway to stability.
-
Thrift for Hope: Turning community donations into life-changing resources.
-
Bridges of Hope SMART Recovery: Empowering individuals to build a life beyond addiction.
A Note to Our Readers: When you choose to shop local with these sponsors, you are supporting the businesses that support our community’s most vital safety nets.
Thank you, Bolen Realty, Barron’s Brown Mug, and Schroeder’s, for leading with compassion and action!

If you thought Thrift for Hope was just the best place in town to find hidden treasures and vintage gems, think again. Our reputation for "Giving Back" is clearly spreading—and not just to the humans!
While we love seeing our regular visitors from out of town, we’ve recently had some... extraordinary guests drop by. From tail-wagging puppies looking for a new toy to a literal horse stopping by to check out our latest arrivals (we’re still checking if we have any lucky horseshoes in stock!), our shop is officially the "mane" attraction in Antigo!
Why do the animals love us?
-
The Vibe: It’s paws-itively welcoming.
-
The Mission: Even the local wildlife knows we’re about strengthening our community through compassion.
-
The Surprises: You never know what—or who—is coming through that door!
Whether you walk in on two legs or four, we’d love to see you this month. Come for the bargains, stay for the potential puppy cuddles. Just a heads up: if you bring your horse, please park it in a "no-neighing" zone! 😉
Stop in, say hi, and see what the buzz (and the barking) is all about!

Hold Your Horses! (Literally...) 🐎

Special donation request
Mobile Outreach: The Need for a Van
The need for a dedicated organization van has become an absolute must as our mission continues to grow. We currently provide assistance to multiple populations within Antigo, and the most common request we receive—day in and day out—is for transportation. Whether it is getting a client to a job interview, a medical appointment, or a housing viewing, a reliable vehicle is the missing link in our service chain. Currently, the lack of transport creates a significant barrier to success for those we serve. Acquiring a van will allow us to meet our clients where they are and ensure thatno one misses a life-changing opportunity simply because they couldn't find a ride.
