Our Story:
Williams House of Hope was started in 2024 in Antigo, Wisconsin. We began our nonprofit organization based on a need in our community. In January 2024, a dearly loved man in our community, William "Billy" DeHart, was homeless and passed away on a frigidly cold night in one of our local parks. The community stood up and said, "Never again."
We began with a few community meetings, and within a few weeks, we formed a nonprofit organization to combat homelessness in Antigo and Langlade County, Wisconsin. The goal is to have a tiered campus that will allow for us to move clients from crisis to stabilization. We are actively working to make this dream a reality for our community.
Our Mission Statement: William’s House of Hope exists to provide safe and supportive emergency shelter.
Our Vision Statement: Create a community where homelessness is no longer a barrier to achieving one’s full potential. Where everyone has access to safe emergency housing and assist in their transition to permanent housing.
